Owner builder budgeting

I'm seriously considering owner building a Granny Flat in my back yard, but I have a very tight budget. How do you keep a budget in line when owner building?

Hi Malcolm, budgeting is a tough ask for an OB, but there are some great guidelines and a downloadable example of a budgeting spreadsheet on this site. Select the Owner Builder button on the top Nav Bar then select OB Budgeting.
